Euphoria at Summer Sound-off - May 18th

Okay, so Euphoria was not the best band competing but they were FAR from the worst. Even though I have received a couple "less-than-flattering" reviews from our writers, I have had the benifit of seeing these guys evolve. From being apprehensive, to being confident. From being complacent, to trying new things. From being ridged, to moving around onstage. It is obvious that with every show they try to correct what they found to be "not right". Their bass player WAS a bit behind more than once and yeah, I do think he needs an image consultant. I'm sure not many people appreciated the negative comments yelled out by their drummer/singer while the other bands were playing. And sure it's fun to say the guitarist looks like Paulie Shore, but I guarantee he could KICK PAULIE SHORE'S ASS. That dude is RIPPED. I overheard more than one chick in the audience comment on him. The last time I saw him he stood still all night. This time he got into it more, stepping forward on his solos, etc. I think these guys are much like an artwork-in-progress. And I'm looking forward to the finished product.
